Things to do in Inhassoro, Mozambique

Boating:

Boats are welcome and can be left in lagoon in front of house. Mooring points are provided. Boat permits from Port Captain is (price on request), we will arrange the permits for you.

Fishing:

Should you be fishing a fishing permit is also required, the cost (price on request) is per fisherman. We will arrange all these permits for you beforehand. All permits valid for 15 days only.

The lodges at BD point are running a fish breeding program to try and build up the fish stocks that have been depleted from netting and over fishing. We kindly request that tourist do not fish in front of the lodges. Fishing can be done around point and on the ocean side.

• Visit the Ticky bar at Três Sereias lodge for a great meals and excellent sunset views
• Cycling and walking. Deserted beaches is ideal for the enthusiast.
• Fishing - Deep Sea, from the shore or in the Estuary.
• Diving, Several reefs close by. GPS Waypoints available on request.
• Exploring, One of the larges estuaries in Mozambique. Several small islands and river sytems to explore. Please take along a GPS, This system is massive.
• Island Hopping. Closest island is BD Island located 13 km north of house. This is a deserted island with the most amazing shells. Paradise Island is 14 km from Inhassoro town, Several local operators offer tours to the world renown island.
• Inhassoro town has several restuarants, curios stores and a interesting local market.
• Visit Nhwabwe the prawn mecca of Mozambique, This is the next town north +- 50km
